If you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above. Paul assumes a fact: you ARE risen. With Christ. And from this follows: direct your gaze upward.
Clarity in thinking arises when your focus is right. Not on the past. Not on earthly things alone. On Christ, who sits above.
Today: you are risen. Think accordingly.
Truth: You are risen with Christ. This is fact, not goal. From this follows a new focus: what is above, where Christ sits. Clarity comes through the right perspective.
Practical today: Consciously direct your gaze to Christ today. Not to problems, not to the past. To him. Then your thinking will clear.
Question for you: What are you focusing on instead of what is above?
Father, thank you that I am risen with Christ. Today I direct my gaze upward. To Christ. I release earthly fixation and problem focus. Holy Spirit, clear my thinking through the right perspective. Amen.
