Galatians 3:13

Freedom from Accusation

Verse

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.

Thought

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Paul makes it crystal clear: the curse of the law, everything the law says about failure, no longer rests on you. Christ carried it. Completely.

Yet sometimes an inner voice reports: "You failed, so you deserve punishment." But the New Covenant says: the curse is broken. The law has no verdict over you anymore because Christ bore the verdict.

Today you may stand in this freedom, not as hope but as fact.

Truth & Application

Truth: Galatians 3:13 says Christ bore the curse of the law, in your place. Every accusation that appeals to the law is settled. You no longer live under the curse but under grace.

Today practical: When you feel a sense of deserved punishment today, remember: the curse is broken. Christ bore it. You are free.

Question for you: Which "curse", which inner conviction of deserved suffering, may fall today?

Prayer

Father, thank You that Christ bore the curse of the law for me. Thank You that I am free, not free on probation but finally free. Today I release every inner accusation that appeals to failure. Holy Spirit, establish me today in the freedom of the New Covenant. Amen.
