John 1:16

Peace as a Standing

Verse

For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

Thought

For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. John writes before the cross about the One who brings grace. The epistles unfold what this means after the cross: endless grace, layer upon layer.

Sometimes you want to react immediately, when a moment of stillness would change everything. Grace upon grace means: you do not live from a one-time portion but from a source that never runs dry. This peace, that grace always suffices, is your standing.

Today you may live from this fullness, not from scarcity.

Truth & Application

Truth: John 1:16 says "grace upon grace", not once but continuously. Your peace rests on the fact that God's grace never stops flowing. You do not need to be stingy with grace, the source is full.

Today practical: When you feel today that your grace is "used up," remember: grace upon grace. More always comes.

Question for you: Where are you living from scarcity thinking today while God's grace overflows?

Prayer

Father, thank You for grace upon grace, endless, overflowing, never used up. Today I stand on the peace that Your grace always suffices. I release scarcity thinking and inner tightness. Holy Spirit, open my eyes today to the fullness that is already here. Amen.
