Redemption and Forgiveness
Verse
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.
Thought
In Christ you have redemption and forgiveness, according to the riches of his grace. Not according to the measure of your merit but according to God's riches. His grace is overflowingly rich, not meagerly measured.
Truth & Application
Truth: Redemption and forgiveness come from God's riches, not from your performance. This grace has no limit.
Today practically: Receive forgiveness as what it is: A gift from an overflowing supply.
Question for you: Do you live in the awareness that God's grace is superabundant?

Father, thank you for redemption and forgiveness according to the riches of your grace. I receive both gratefully today. Amen.
