Ephesians 2:5

Even when we were dead in our trespasses, he made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved. Paul describes the most radical identity change: from dead to alive. Not from bad to better. From dead to alive.

Your new identity is not an improved version of the old. It is completely new life. Made alive with Christ. This was not your merit but pure grace.

Today: you were dead, now you are alive. This is not a detail. This is everything.

Truth: You were dead and have been made alive with Christ. This is the most radical identity change possible. Your new life is not repair but resurrection. By grace.

Practical today: Consciously remember today: I was dead, now I live. With Christ. By grace. Make a decision that fits someone who is alive.
