Clarity in Thinking

And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ.

To be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law but that which comes through faith in Christ. Paul describes his deepest desire: to be found in Christ, not with his own merit.
Clarity: own righteousness is worthless before God. The only righteousness that counts comes through faith. This is not weakness. This is wisdom.
Today: release your own righteousness. Be found in him.
Truth & Application
Truth: Own righteousness from the law is worthless. The only righteousness that counts before God comes through faith in Christ. Being found in him is the highest standing.
Practical today: When you try to be righteous through your own doing today, stop. Say: My righteousness is Christ, not my work.
Question for you: Where are you still building your own righteousness that does not count before God?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I am found in Christ, not in my own righteousness. Today I release the attempt to make myself righteous. My standing is Christ. Holy Spirit, keep me in this clarity. Amen.
