Love Instead of Fear
Verse
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.
Thought
In him we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. Boldness and access. Two gifts that make fear unnecessary. You may come, free and confident.
Love shows itself in that God not only opens the door for you but also encourages you to walk through. Fear says: stay outside. Love says: come in.
Today: boldness and access are yours. Through faith. Not through performance.
Truth & Application
Truth: In Christ you have boldness and access to God with full confidence. Fear of God is not necessary in the New Covenant. You come not as a petitioner but as a child with access.
Practical today: Come to God today with boldness. Say what is on your heart. Directly. Confidently. He listens.
Question for you: Where do you still fear God even though boldness and access are yours?
Prayer
Father, thank you for boldness and access. Through faith in Christ I may come, confident and free. Today I use this access. I release fear of you. Holy Spirit, lead me into bold closeness. Amen.
