Romans 5:17
Reigning in Life
Verse
For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive Gods abundant provision of grace reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
Thought
Those who receive the abundance of grace will reign in life through Jesus Christ. Paul shows an incredible truth: You are not destined to suffer under circumstances, you are destined to reign in life. Through grace.
Reigning does not mean control over others. It means circumstances do not rule over you. Grace gives you the position from which you live, not as a victim but as a son or daughter with authority.
Today you can reign, through grace, not through force.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are destined to reign in life, through grace. Circumstances do not determine over you; Christ in you does. Reigning in the New Covenant is not control but standing in grace.
Today practically: Where does your life feel today like you are being ruled rather than reigning? Remember: I am placed in Christ through grace.
Question for you: In which area may you reign through grace today instead of suffering under pressure?
Prayer
Father, thank you that through grace I may reign in life. Not through my own strength but through Christ. Today I take my position. I release victim mentality and passivity. Holy Spirit, lead me into my authority in Christ. Amen.
