Children Through Faith

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.
Thought
In Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. All. Not just the devout, not just the strong, all who believe. Sonship in the New Covenant is not elite but universal for everyone in Christ.
You do not become Gods child through performance. You are through faith. That is your identity, firm, secure, unearned. And from this identity you may live.
Today you can see yourself as Gods child, not as a stranger, not as a guest.
Truth & Application
Truth: Sonship comes through faith, not performance. You are Gods child, not through what you do but through what you believe. This identity stands for all who are in Christ.
Today practically: Treat yourself today as what you are: Gods child. Make decisions from this identity.
Question for you: Where are you still living as a stranger instead of as Gods child?
Prayer
Father, thank you that through faith I am your child. Not through performance, through trust. Today I live as a son, a daughter. I release feelings of estrangement. Holy Spirit, make me aware of my sonship. Amen.
