Track 1 opens the instrumental album with the first spiritual act: Entrance. Like Moses before the burning bush (Exodus 3:5): "Do not draw near here; take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."
In the Hebrew original it is admat-qodesh (אַדְמַת־קֹדֶשׁ), "ground of holiness". Holy ground is not a place in itself. It is the place of encounter with God.
Mike's instrumental opening track invites this reverent entrance movement. Sandals off. Attention sharpened. Perception heightened. You are not entering a normal space, you are entering presence.
That is the tone of the whole album. Words would only disturb. Sound alone carries the movement. Whoever hears the track in stillness goes through a real entrance experience if he allows it. Mike's sound opens the door, you walk through.
