John 1:5: "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." In the Greek original: phaínei present tense (shines) and katélaben aorist (has not overcome).
Mike's track title "The Light Remains" is the confession of this constancy. The light remains. Period. Not "comes back", it remains.
The word "remain" has a particular dignity. It is not "to continue" (that would be "continue"), it is "remains", with the undertone of steadiness, reliability.
In the Gospel of John, ménō (μένω, to remain) is a key term. It appears 40+ times. Yeshua remains in the Father. The sons remain in the Son. The word remains in the sons. Remaining, as a way of life.
Mike's track is confession: the light remains. Even when darkness surrounds you. Even when you do not feel it. The light is not a flickering phenomenon. It is constant reality. Mike's sound carries this constancy statement.
