Blessing in the falling snow: the image of the track is meditative. Snowfall has something calming, almost comforting. Mike recognizes blessing in it.
Numbers 6:24-26, the Aaronic blessing: "YHWH bless you and keep you. YHWH make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. YHWH lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace."
In the Hebrew original: y'varekh'kha YHWH v'yishm'rekha, "may YHWH bless you and keep you". In English, blessing is often translated with the word that originally meant "to consecrate with blood". Blessing is originally a holy, serious act.
Mike's instrumental track gives the blessing sound. When snow falls, the invisible blessing of the Father falls with it on everything that stands there. Mike's sound carries this English blessing reality gently and unobtrusively.
