Isaiah 9:2: "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned."
Mike's track title "Light in the Distance" carries both spatial and temporal meaning. The light is still far, but it is coming.
Matthew 4:16 quotes Isaiah: "The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned." Yeshua's appearing in Galilee fulfilled this promise.
The word "hope" here is not only wish, not only expectation. It is substantial hope, translated in the New Testament as elpís (ἐλπίς). "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life" (Proverbs 13:12).
Mike's track is the musical application of this hope reality. In the night (Track 4) light becomes visible (Track 5). Still in the distance, but real. Growing. Coming closer. Mike's sound carries this hope movement as a bridge from darkness to light.
