2 Corinthians 4:6

For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts. The same God who called light at creation placed light in your heart.

Your identity is no longer darkness. You carry light because God spoke it in.

Truth: God has spoken light into your heart. You carry it because he spoke, not because you earned it.

Today practically: When darkness-thoughts come, remember: God placed light in me.
