Revelation 3:20
Open the Door
Verse
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him.
Thought
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. In context this verse addresses a church that has become lukewarm. Jesus is not standing outside begging, he is inviting to deep fellowship.
Gratitude in the New Covenant is not a duty but a natural fruit when you see what Christ has done. Joy grows when your gaze rests on the good that is already there.
Today you can open the door for real fellowship with the living God.
Truth & Application
Truth: Jesus knocks to have fellowship with you, not to condemn you. He is not the strict judge at the door but the friend who wants to eat with you. Gratitude and joy grow when you accept this invitation.
Today practically: Open the door today. Take five quiet minutes and invite Jesus in. Not religious, but real.
Question for you: Where have you closed the door even though Jesus is knocking?
Prayer
Father, thank you that Jesus knocks at my door, for fellowship, not judgment. Today I open to him. I release distance and lukewarmness. Holy Spirit, fill me today with gratitude and real joy. Amen.
