I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Thought
I will never leave you nor forsake you. Gods faithfulness does not depend on your performance. He stays, even when you wobble.
Sometimes God feels far away. Not because he has left, but because feelings are poor navigators. The truth is: He has promised to stay. And his promises hold because they are founded on his character.
Today you can know: You are not alone. Not because you feel it, but because he promised it.
Truth & Application
Truth: Gods promise to stay does not depend on your performance. He has promised not to leave you, and he keeps that promise. Your feelings may shift, his faithfulness does not.
Today practically: If you feel alone today, speak quietly: He has promised to stay. Let that sink deeper than your feelings.
Question for you: Where has a feeling convinced you today that God is far away?
Prayer
Father, thank you that you stay. Thank you that your faithfulness does not depend on me. Today I trust your promise, not my feelings. I release loneliness and the sense of God being distant. Holy Spirit, make Gods nearness real to me today. Amen.
