Put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. Paul does not say "become righteous and holy", he says "put on what you already are." The new self already exists. You carry it.
There are situations where fear wants to pull you into retreat. But the new self in you was created in love. Love instead of fear is not effort, it is the nature of your new being.
Truth & Application
Truth: Ephesians 4:24 says the new self is already created, in righteousness and holiness. You do not need to create it but put it on. Love is part of your new nature, not a task you must fulfill.
Today practical: When fear wants to pull you into retreat today, ask: What would the new self in me do now? Then act accordingly.
Question for you: Where are you still living from the old self when the new one is already here?
Prayer
Father, thank You that the new self in me is already created, in righteousness and holiness. Today I consciously put it on. I release fear, retreat, and old thinking. Holy Spirit, thank you that I live from my new nature today, in love. Amen.
