Revelation 3:20

Invitation to Fellowship

Verse

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him.

Thought

Jesus stands at the door and knocks. He doesn't break in. He doesn't force himself. He respects your free will, God's most important gift to humanity. And he waits. If you open, he comes in and has fellowship with you.

The image is intimate: Eating together. This is not a formal worship service but relationship. Christ doesn't want your religious duty. He wants you. Your heart, your honesty, your openness.

Today: Open the door. He's not waiting with accusations but with fellowship.

Truth & Application

Truth: Jesus forces no one. He knocks and waits. Your free will is sacred to him. When you open to him, you find not a sermon but fellowship, closeness, a meal, relationship.

Today practically: Take a quiet moment today and say: "Jesus, come in." Then just be there. No program needed.

Question for you: Are you keeping the door closed even though he is already knocking?

Prayer

Jesus, thank you for knocking and waiting. Thank you for respecting my free will. Today I open the door to you. Come in, have fellowship with me. I let go of distraction and inner noise. Holy Spirit, let me experience Jesus' nearness as real today. Amen.
