Reigning in Life
Verse
For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Thought
Receiving the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness, and through that, reigning in life. Through Jesus. That is God's plan: Not that you go under, but that you reign. Not through your own strength, but through overflowing grace.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are not a victim of your circumstances. Through the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, you reign in life, through Jesus Christ. Reigning begins with receiving.
Today practically: Consciously receive grace and righteousness as a gift today. Then walk through your day as someone who reigns, not someone who gets rolled over.
Question for you: Do you live as a ruler in Christ or as a victim of your circumstances?
Prayer
Father, thank you for overflowing grace and the gift of righteousness. Today I reign in life through Christ. Not as a victim but as your child. Holy Spirit, strengthen this awareness in me. Amen.
