Galatians 4:6-7
From Slave to Heir
Verse
And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!" So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
Thought
You are no longer a slave but a child. And if a child, then an heir. The Spirit cries in you: Abba, Father. This is not theology, it is relationship, the deepest there is. From slave to heir in one step.
Truth & Application
Truth: God's Spirit in you testifies to your sonship. You don't have to produce that, the Spirit does it. You are a child and heir. That changes everything.
Today practically: Address God today consciously as Abba. Let the Spirit make this relationship come alive in you.
Question for you: Are you living like an heir or like a servant?
Prayer
Abba, Father! Thank you that I am your child and heir. The Spirit in me testifies to it. Today I live not as a servant but as a son. I let go of slave mentality. Amen.
