Sanctified Once for All
Verse
And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Thought
Sanctified once for all through the sacrifice of Jesus. One time, complete. Your sanctification is not a process you must finish, it is a standing you already have. Christ's sacrifice needs no repetition.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are sanctified. Not "will be someday." It has happened. Christ's sacrifice was sufficient.
Today practically: Live today as the sanctified person you are. Not as someone still trying to get there.
Question for you: Are you trying to sanctify yourself or resting in what Christ has done?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I am sanctified once for all. Christ's sacrifice was enough. Today I live in this sanctification. Amen.
