All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself.
Thought
All from God, who reconciled us to himself. The initiative was his. You didn't work your way to God, he built the bridge. The chasm of separation is closed in Christ.
Truth & Application
Truth: Reconciliation is God's initiative. He bridged the separation. In Christ the relationship is restored, fully and permanently.
Today practically: Receive reconciliation today as a gift. You don't need to add anything.
Question for you: Are you living in reconciliation or still trying to build the bridge yourself?
Prayer
Father, thank you for taking the initiative. The chasm is closed. Today I live in reconciliation. Amen.
