Hebrews 4:16

Rest and Trust

Verse

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Thought

Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace. Hebrews invites: come closer. Not timidly, not fearfully. With confidence. The throne is not judgment but grace.

In the New Covenant, God's throne is a place of help, not settlement. You come not as a defendant but as a child. And grace waits there for you, exactly when you need it.

Rest arises when you know: I may come. Anytime. Without fear. Without precondition.

Truth & Application

Truth: God's throne is a throne of grace, not of judgment. You may draw near with confidence and receive mercy and grace at the right time.

Practical today: Consciously approach God today. Not with fear but with confidence. Come as a child, not as a defendant. And receive what you need.

Question for you: What keeps you from approaching God's throne with confidence today?

Prayer

Father, thank you that your throne is a throne of grace. I draw near with confidence today. Not from merit but because you invite. I receive mercy and grace at the right time. I release fear of God. Holy Spirit, lead me into the closeness of my Father. Amen.
