Brought near

Verse

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Thought

Once far off, now brought near. By the blood of Christ. The distance is overcome.

Nearness is your normal state. You do not need to qualify.

Truth: You are near, by Christ's blood. Nearness is your normal.

Today practically: Speak to God as Father. Accept the nearness.

Question for you: Where do you live at a distance?

Father, thank you that I am near. Today I receive your closeness. Amen.
