Dead Made Alive

Verse

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, but God made you alive.

Thought

You were dead in your transgressions, but God made you alive. That was not your merit. You were dead. The dead cannot wake themselves. God did it.

Truth & Application

Truth: You were dead, and God made you alive. You did not wake yourself. He acted when you were still dead. That is the radical grace of the New Covenant.

Today practically: Live from this truth today.

Prayer

Father, thank you for making me alive when I was still dead. Today I live. Not through me, through you. I release death thinking. Amen.
