You are God's workmanship. Not your own project, not the result of self-optimization, but his masterpiece. And the good works you do are not the condition for your acceptance but the fruit of it.
God has prepared paths for you to walk in. That takes the pressure off having to invent everything yourself. You get to discover rather than force. He has already prepared the way; you just get to step into it.
Today, see yourself as what you are: God's handiwork with a prepared path ahead.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are not a random product that needs to prove itself. You are God's intentional work, created for a path he has prepared. Good works flow from your identity; they don't create it.
Today practically: Walk through today with open eyes. Perhaps a prepared step is right in front of you, just waiting for you to take it.
Question for you: What if the next right step is already waiting for you?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I am your workmanship. Thank you that you prepared paths for me before I knew them. Today I walk with open eyes and a calm heart. I let go of the compulsion to create everything myself. Holy Spirit, lead me into the steps you have prepared. Amen.
