And raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. You are not just saved, you are seated with Him. Your place is in the heavenly places, in Christ. This is not a goal; it is your standing.
Many live inwardly like guests though they have long been accepted. But Ephesians 2:6 says: you sit with Christ. Sonship is not distance, it is closeness at the highest level.
Truth & Application
Truth: Ephesians 2:6 says you are seated in the heavenly places. This is not a future state, it is now. Your place is beside Christ. Sonship means: you are not a guest, you are family.
Today practical: When you feel like an outsider today, remember: you are seated with Christ. Your place stands. You belong in the heavenly places.
Question for you: Where are you still living as a guest when you are already family?
Prayer
Father, thank You that You seated me in the heavenly places. My place is beside Christ, not somewhere on the edge. Today I live as who I am: Your child, seated, accepted. I release the guest feeling. Holy Spirit, show me my place. Amen.
