Paul had everything that counts by religious standards: lineage, education, zeal. Yet he says: I want to be found in Christ with the righteousness that comes through faith, not my own. He didn't reform the old system; he let it go.
Self-righteousness sometimes feels safer because you can control it. But it's never enough. The righteousness from Christ is complete because it doesn't depend on you. It's a garment given to you, not one you sew.
Today you can stop patching together your own righteousness. Christ is enough.
