Thoughts within the New Covenant
You have been raised with Christ. This is not future, it has happened. Your old life died; a new one has begun. Paul says: Set your focus accordingly. Not rigidly, but because it is your new reality.
Being raised with Christ means you have a new perspective. Your focus gets to shift, away from what pulls you down, toward what is already reality in Christ.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are raised, now. Your focus gets to realign: away from the old, toward what is reality in Christ. The old is gone.
Today practically: Consciously set your gaze on Christ today. When old patterns pull, remember: I am raised. The old is over.
Question for you: Where are you still living in the old life even though you have been raised with Christ?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I have been raised with Christ. Today I set my gaze on what is above. I refuse to be defined by the past. Holy Spirit, renew my perspective. Amen.
