Thoughts within the New Covenant
In Christ the whole fullness of God dwells bodily. And you have been filled in him. Not half full, not almost enough, filled. What you lack is not lacking in Christ.
This means you don't need to keep searching. Everything is in Christ. The fullness of God dwells in him, and you are in him. So you have access to the whole fullness.
Truth & Application
Truth: You are filled in Christ. This is not a process you must complete. It is a standing you already have. God's fullness is in Christ, and you are in Christ.
Today practically: When scarcity thinking arises, remember: In Christ I am filled. Completely.
Question for you: Where are you searching outside of Christ for what you already have in him?
Prayer
Father, thank you that I am filled in Christ. Completely. Today I live from this fullness. I let go of scarcity thinking and discontent. Holy Spirit, open my eyes to the fullness that is already there. Amen.
