Thoughts within the New Covenant
All things work together for good. Not some, not only the good ones, all. This doesn't mean everything that happens is good. It means God can form something good from everything. Even from what hurts.
This promise applies to those who love God. It is a relational promise. God takes the threads of your life and weaves from them something you may not yet see.
Truth & Application
Truth: God works in everything, even the hard things. He takes the threads of your life and weaves something good from them. You don't have to understand it all. You can trust.
Today practically: What don't you understand right now? Give it to God and trust that he will make something good from it too.
Question for you: Do you trust God even with what you don't understand?
Prayer
Father, thank you that you work all things together for good. Even what I don't understand. Today I trust you. I let go of the need to control. Holy Spirit, thank you for the trust for what I cannot yet see, it is already in me. Amen.
