Perfect love casts out fear. God's love for you is perfect, so fear has no place. Fear of punishment, rejection, failure, all of it gives way before his love.
If you fear God with dread, you are not yet living in the full knowledge of his love. That is not accusation but invitation: Let his love penetrate deeper, and fear will give way.
Truth & Application
Truth: God's perfect love and fear don't mix. The deeper you know his love, the less room fear has. Fear retreats where love enters.
Today practically: Where do you feel fear in your relationship with God? Invite his love into that exact area.
Question for you: Is your relationship with God shaped by love or by fear?
Prayer
Father, thank you that your love is perfect and fear has no place. Today I open myself to the depth of your love. I let go of fear of punishment and rejection. Holy Spirit, let God's love drive out my fear today. Amen.
